🐶 Pet Travel Guidelines – Global Track Cargo

  • All pets undergo a thorough vet check at our agency to ensure they’re fit for travel. You can conveniently book your pet’s journey online, through Global Track Cargo, or by contacting our support team directly.

  • A pet fee depends per trip applies and can be added under the “Extras” section during your booking.

  • Each customer may travel with a maximum of two pets.

  • To ensure availability, we recommend booking early, as the number of pets allowed per flight is limited.

  • While we know your pet is part of the family, pets are not permitted in premium Mint class.

  • Please note: Pets are not accepted on interline or codeshare bookings, regardless of how or where the reservation was made (including travel agencies, third-party websites, or partner airlines).

Pet Travel Requirement

  • Before you travel, make sure to check the vaccination and entry documentation required for each destination on your route. It’s important to confirm which countries allow pet entry and which have restrictions in place.

    • Ensure your pet is wearing proper ID tags and a valid license at all times.

    • Your pet carrier must not exceed 17”L x 12.5”W x 8.5”H, and the combined weight of your pet and the carrier must be 20 pounds or less. The carrier must easily fit under the seat in front of you.

    • The pet and carrier are counted as one carry-on item.

    • Pets must remain secured inside the carrier at all times, both at the airport and during the flight.

🐾 Already Paid Your Pet Fee and Have an SSR Code? You’re Good to Go!

If you’ve already paid the pet transportation fee and received your Special Service Request (SSR) code, you can check in 24 hours before your flight—either online, through the Global Track Cargo app, or at any airport self-check-in kiosk.

After checking in, please visit a full-service counter or connect with a Global Track Cargo team member in the self-service lobby to receive your official pet travel tag. This tag attaches to your pet’s carrier, signaling that your furry friend is cleared for travel. It also includes Pet Travel Tips to guide you through the process.

At the TSA checkpoint, you’ll need to remove your pet from the carrier and carry or walk them while the empty carrier goes through X-ray screening. Pets are welcome in the TSA Pre✓® lane if you are eligible to use it.

  • Your pet and carrier count as one carry-on item.

  • If you’re using a pet stroller, you may gate-check it for free either to your arrival gate or the baggage claim area at your destination.

  • Pets must remain inside the carrier at all times—in the airport and during the flight.

  • Need a potty break for your pet? Unless the airport has a designated post-security pet relief area, you’ll need to exit the terminal and re-enter through security after your pet is relieved.
